Cristian, the former Executive Chef of Cova Italian Restaurant, had just stepped into his role as the head of his family's fine foods company. There, he became the trusted authority for Hong Kong's most elite five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants, sourcing impossibly rare and premium ingredients. But his true calling was creation—leading him to establish the celebrated Victoria Island Smokehouse and Aristocrat Caviar.
Meanwhile, Steven ascended the ranks of international finance. Upon retirement, he returned home to Norfolk, Virginia, but the bond forged over shared meals held strong.
